Rémi is attracted by the western style since he was a kid. He discovers country dancing at the age of 13 thanks to Beatrice Pecqueux who worked in his school.
He starts dancing at the « Western Country Dancers » in Gravelines.
At the age of 15, he starts teaching.
Mapie Coquet, president of the « Western Country Dancers » at this moment, helps him in this function. He also gives lessons at Loon Plage and at the « Silver Colt Line Dancers » where he is part of the founding members.
By discovering country dancing, his love for dancing grows. Rémi likes now the variety of motions. (cha-cha, polka, night club, waltz, country).
While he hears a song that he likes, Rémi checks if there is already a choreography on it and he does not find anything. So in 2009, he creates his first choreography : « Change the World ».
It is a success, and the first one of a long succession.
Rémi is also happy to take lessons with Audrey Gendre and Jérémie Tridon.
In 2009, he competes at the UCWDC European championships in the category Choreography with « Loca loca » and gets the 1st place.
He tries again in july 2010 at the City of Lights in Paris with « Country star », written with Flavia Vilaspasa and Guillaume Richard ; he wins again.
In 2013, he gets the 1st place in front of 8 other choreographies at the City of Lights with « Maldon ».

His dream his to become and event director or a competition judge.
Rémi likes to be present at competitions to watch dancers competiing. In 2006, at the City of Lights, he competes for the first time thanks to Syndie Berger. And when he sees the judges, he thinks that he wants to do the same later.
Today, thanks to Brigitte Zerah, that he thanks a lot for the trust she gives him, Rémi is a DJ at the City of Lights in Paris, with Tommy Weafer.
