Roy Hadisubroto, was born on the 29th of june 1985.
At the age of 6, he learns at the same time ballroom dancing and Pencak Silat (martial arts), that he practises during 6 years.
He decides to go further in ballroom dancing with latin dancing. He discovers line dancing in 1994.
He competes fot the first time in line dancing in 1997.
He also wins a lot of national and international line dancing competitions.
In january 1998, he wins for the first time the World champion title. He has now 9 world champion titles, whose the title of Superstar and also 6 world champion titles for his team Evistar.
He also wins twice the award of the favorite choreograph in line dancing in 2002 and 2003.
From 2004 to 2009, he deals with the HBO program at the Dance Show Dance Musical Theatre & Lucia Marthas in Amsterdam.
Moreover, he is part of several musicals.
He also works as a dancer with Lionel Richie, Candy Dulfer, and also in several TV shows. He creates choreographies for the TV show « Dancing queen » and « So you want to be a Popstar ».
